Cunniff Reviews

The Cunniff School is a school in transition as many teachers are retiring and many new teachers are beginning their careers in the last two years the Cunniff has adopted a new phonics program as well as a new Math program. There are many many loving teachers here who go out of their way for the families at this school. The school has a great community feel and a very strong PTO. I would recommend this school to anyone moving into Watertown. The other two schools seem very big and disjointed.

This school has been a big disappointment. The MCAS results are extremely poor. The math and reading programs are lacking dramatically. Although there are some extremely friendly and loving teachers who are very caring and generous to the children there are also some that should absolutely not be teaching, volunteering or running this school. It's a huge disappointment compared to the other 2 elementary schools. I am not proud to be involved with this school and if someone had the opportunity to go somewhere else they should!
