It is certainly not exclusive, as every parent is automatically considered a member. Voice your opinions and become active. I found the curriculum to be presented with full support of the 'Majority ' and very minimal for the 'Minority' The feeling my son left with was that as a man of color he was only a slave in America and that true Americans were white. I just wanted to say that this is a fine school and that our children prospered here. Like one of the other parents who have reviewed this school, we found that the teachers brought out the best in our children. When she transferred to Burr, her third grade teacher brought out all her best qualities. My daughter has more friends, takes violin lessons, and always wants to go to school functions. She absalutely loves her teacher and this school. So do I. No one has accused her of being abnormal and tries to hurt her like they did at [her previous school]. This is a great school and my only regret is not getting my daughter here sooner so she wouldn't have had to go through the humiliation at the last school for so long.”
