The teachers all seem to take the time to know my children, all their strengths and weaknesses, and are willing to listen to parental input. There are many enrichment activities provided for the children. My favorite aspect of this school is the way it embraces and encourages differences in children and families. The parents are great and, as a whole, consider education a priority. The new pricipal is very involved and takes the time to make each child feel special and the parents feel valued. She actually returns phone calls and really works on helping you deal with a problem if you have one, instead of sweeping it under the rug. I can't say enough good things about her. I know a lot of the other parents feel the same way as I do. The teachers are also very nice and really seem to care about the students. The academic program here is great. There are no organized sports. The music program is fantastic. However the Principal of this school needs to worry more about the school and it's students rather than fund raising, politics, the PTA & keeping the 'money suppliers' happy!”
