Marblehead Community Charter Public School Reviews

Excellent School! We have extracurricular activities every day! And our Acedemic Director is sooooo nice I give this school 5/5 on everything

outstanding !!! in everything very happy with everybody also children loves the school

I thought long and hard about what I wanted my childrens education to consist of over and above the 'american standards' that are mandated. MCCPS supplies just about all of the factors I was looking for. Their approach to fitness and nutrition is terrific. Understanding community and learning to be accountable for ones self are covered too, there are many wonderful reasons to consider MCCPS. My 3 children and I feel very lucky to be a part of this great school part of this great school. My 3 children love to go to school

Great school. M kids have learned alot and have a great experience every day at MCCPS. Many parents SHOULD consider MCCPS a school for their kids.

There are some serious problems at MCCPS. Parents considering this school should be sure to look closely and listen evaluate the administrative leaders and teachers. Some of the teachers have been outstanding role models for my child while others have caused our family great pain.

'MCCPS is the best school that I could ever dream of in my whole imagination! said my 4th grader with pride and enthusiasm. He and his brother love Charter. 'Exhibition is a great way for me to become more confident and show my parents what I've been doing and that I have the confidence to speak publicly about what I've learned.' He loves the way learning is organized into integrated units of study - everything is connected to everything else. Instead of gym class, there are 2- 30 minute recesses when he can play football with the older kids. He can also choose to learn yoga, tennis, or dance. My 6th grader says, 'The classes are challenging, interesting, and usually fun. I'm never bored, and I've learned a lot.' They agree that MCCPS works them hard, but they love going to school. What else could I want for my boys?

My daughter has been there since the 5th grade and on the overall has been a good experience. The only two drawbacks to this school is the lack of extracurricular activities, and the three heavy exhibitions that the school holds. The kids become too stressed out over these exhibitions because most of their grades rely on the final product of these exhibitions, whereas it seems that all their other work is overlooked.
