PAIN by CCG POP SUPERHERO
"PAIN" REVIEW: "Nashville's Version of Fiona Apple" ROLLING STONE
This POWER POP SONG by Lynn 'JULIAN,' aKa Cookie Cutter Girl POP SUPERHERO, invites listeners to hear the private thoughts of a women at a turning point in her young life. I wanted to move forward, but knew in her heart that I *must* resolve painful, personal issues with my lover before I did. As the chorus chants: "Pain... I know you feel it...," we've all been there. The lyrics are vague enough to apply to anyone's problems, yet, somehow, you still feel as if she's singing *your* song. It's about each person's struggle to be part of a serious relationship and still maintain their independence & individual identity. Guy or gal, young or old, we've ALL been down this road before. Listen to "Pain" and "I'll bet you think this song is about you..."

"PAIN"
VERSE I
can't take another heartbreak. can't take your past away.
can't make another mistake. can't make this choice today.
can't get my feet to move forward. can't let you carry me.
can't get you to keep your word. can't let you marry me.
CHORUS
Pain...I know you feel it. Pain...I'm drownin' in a sea.
Pain...Why won't you heal it? Pain...All around me.
VERSE II
ain't gonna' live up to your memory. ain't gonna' live in your fantasy.
ain't gonna' give up 'til I mend me. ain't gonna' give into all my needs.
ain't gonna' stand livin' for the weekend. ain't gonna' stand bein' in the way.
ain't gonna' hang over the deep end. ain't gonna' hang up on me again.
CHORUS
Pain...I know you feel it. Pain...I'm drownin' in a sea.
Pain...Why won't you heal it? Pain...All around me.
BRIDGE
Free...Free me on this side of sane. Free...Free from this...
CHORUS
Pain...I know you feel it. Pain...I'm drownin' in a sea.
Pain...Why won't you heal it? Pain...All around me.
VERSE III
don't hate small men with no goals. don't hate the ones in my way.
won't wait to know 'cause I'm too bold. won't wait to hear my story told.
CHORUS (2x)
Pain...I know you feel it. Pain...I'm drownin' in a sea.
Pain...Why won't you heal it? Pain...All around me.
2ND TIME ENDING: Pain...Set Me... Free.

About Boston, Massachusetts
Downtown Boston streets make tourists feel like they're driving on cow trails. In actual fact, they're ex-cow trails. But, that's part of the charm around Faneuil Hall. The Old North Church is there. Nearby is the USS Constitution. Take the Red Line subway to Harvard Square and stroll around Harvard Yard. Later, you can say you “went to Harvard.”
There are many famous festivals and events held throughout the year. The Boston Marathon, held each April, attracts runners from all over the world. Summer brings many festivals including Chowderfest, Chinatown Festival, Octoberfest Festival, Boston Harborfest, and the Dragon Boat Festival. One of the most loved events is the Boston Beer Festival held in mid-June each year.
A Boston visit is also the chance to explore the spectacular scenic coastlines of New Hampshire and southern Maine with quick day trip. See the historic Nubble Lighthouse and spend two hours in Kennebunkport, Maine. Browse quaint shops and savor a New England lobster roll. (Even McDonalds serves lobster rolls in Maine.) Other good day trips around Boston include: Cape Cod, Plymouth Plantation, and Salem, where the witches burned. It'll take a few visits to see it all from Boston.
