Quincy Historical Society - (617) 773-1144

This is the place where John Hancock was born! This building shows the history of Quincy - from way back all the way to the present. It has a lot to show about the history of this city and its very quaint. There are so many different primary sources available to check out it was amazing. This would be such a fun place to take kids, because you can look at photographs, written documents, autographed items and different products. It really puts you back into time and into the history of this great city. Its well put together and organized and its a hands on way to learn. PROS: Historic CONS: no cons
