I've had a ton of problems with my car but the people at Boston VW find the problems fast and repair them. They are also helpful at securing a rental car so I can continue about my work without too much headache and interruption. The people are very friendly and actually care about their customers.

The first time I took my car to this dealership and $100 stolen from my car. This dealership (service department) sucks. I WILL NOT GO BACK, even if they give me $100.

As far as Volkswagen dealerships go, this is not the best, but the hours are perfect for a young professional (they're open until midnight for repairs). They always see my car quickly, but sometimes I feel like they find the problem I bring it in for, and don't search for anything else. My check engine light comes on repeatedly after bringing it in for service. It would be nice if they could check all these things @ once so my car isn't in every other week.

I recenlty had my car towed to this dealership after it had alternator problems and coolant leakage. Once my car became stranded the dealership wasted no time in scaming me. They charged nearly $1000 in repairs and as soon as I got it home, after the repairs, it started to over heat(a problem that did not occur before the service)! I brought it back the next day and they wanted to charge me $300 more to fix it saying that they did not cause the problem and that they would have found the problem the previous day had it existed then. Seeing as I live a ten min drive from the dealership I find MELTED waterpump parts to be a little more than ten mis driving's worth of damage. Now my car is worse off than it started. DON'T GO THERE FOR ANYTHING Not to mention that there was another customer there who's car broke down, entirely, after only having an AC system fixed.

Having owned a number of Volkswagens over the years, and visited dozens of dealers I would probably rate this one the lowest in terms of customer service. After many visits there does not seem to be a single one that I can recall without incident. Abrasive or generally unhelpful service staff seem to be the pattern. Staff do not seem to know very much about the terms of their own warranty items, or are unwilling to provide adequate information. Although their extended hours are helpful, its often difficult to get a service person on the phone, or messages are not returned.
