Most entertaining waitstaff i have ever encountered

So my and a few of my friends decided to go out last weekend to the meltingpot. I had heard several people talk about it and decided to go try it out for myself. We waited for a bit to be seated (about 40 min with a reservation for a party of 4). Eventhough there seemed to be available tables, it seemed like the hostesses had no idea what they were doing. That was the only real problem. Once we were seated our waitress greeted us promptly. She was smiling and joking with us which at least made me forget about the wait. She was very helpful, and brought us our drinks promptly. We had the wisconsin cheese fondue on her reccomendation (afterall I just think cheese is cheese) and it was excellent. She jokingly said she was a "cheese master"---but i believe her, it was delicious! We all shared an entree for two (i forgot the name of it) and some filet which we cooked in the oil style. Now apparently this is a difficult style to cook in but we had no problem. They go over how to cook and its not difficult at all, For dessert we got the s'mores. DELICIOUS. Then again i am partial to chocolate. You get fruit, brownies, poundcake, cheesecake, marshmallows...mmm. All in all we spent about $50 a person cause we also had some drinks. The MeltingPot has a great wine list and liquor selection. However they do not have draft beer which would be excellent. I started with a bottled beer which seemed flat. I sent it back and got a mojito instead which was excellent. I didn't mind spending the money. Other then waiting for our table, the rest of the night went really well. It was probably some of the best service I have had. Very friendly waitstaff.

Pros: service was great, very personable waitstaff

Cons: better organization of reservations, no need to wait 40 min when you made a reservation
